ETOS (Netherlands Makeup) Haul!!

Last year my brother that lives in Amsterdam asked me what I wanted for my birthday.  Naturally, I looked to see what local makeup they had.....hahaha!! I found out about a store named Etos which I gather is kinda like Walgreens here. 

 

This is what I got last year:

 

 

Everything has great pigmentation!! I was so excited to try out new makeup!! ;)

 

 

The Smokey eye trio is amazing!! I told him how happy I was, so this year he sent me some blushes and a blue Smokey trio!! AHHHH!!!!

 

 

 

 

The only bummer is that they don't have names for the products, just a series of numbers.  I am beyond thrilled!! I haven't found anyone of YT reviewing or using these products.  I would love to hear if anyone out there has tried these products.  Leave a comment!

Kelly Osborne MAC Dupe look (#copycatmakeup)

Hi all!!!!!!!!!  To recreate this look I used the Urban Decay Deluxe Shadow Box. I unfortunately missed getting this collection.  They sold out within hours :(

So here's what I used:

EYES: UD Deluxe Shadow Box, UD 24/7 glide-on pencil in Zero and Benefit They're real. (and my staple UD primer potion)
LIPS: NYX lipliner pencil in Coral and believe it or not Maybelline's color tattoo in Fierce and Tangy.  It was a bit drying so I used Vaseline Rosy lips under and on top as a gloss.
CHEEKS: My Pretty Zombie blush in PCP from the Drugs Like Me collection.
**I toned it down a bit with the black under the eyes to make it wearable during the day.**

Chapter 1: MAC Lipsticks

 

 

Here are a few swatches of my MAC lippies!!! Obviously these are my faves since they're in my collection....haha!

As of the past year I have been into RED shades.  So without further ado..........

 

and some nudes as well....

 

Here are the swatches. (left is under natural light and right is under artificial)

 

 

 Viva Glam Gaga 2 was my gateway lippie to MAC lippies.....once you go mac, you never go back LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!   The quality really is worth the price, stays on forever! 

(I didn't use lip liners on these so it wouldn't mess with the colors.  And FYI...I purchased all of these lipsticks on my own. No sponsors.)

My Pretty Zombie Cosmetics review!!

      Helloooo!!!!!!!!!! Today I am excited to be reviewing a "new to me" cosmetics line.  I came to know about them through youtube. (Shout out to Tori at Biohazardousbeauty) 

             I ordered some eyeshadows and some sample sized shadows and blushes.  Not only are the names awesome, but the pigmentation is beyond words.  I am hooked on this line....HOOKED!!

           Anyway...enough chit chat! Here are some pics:

These are the items I ordered

The packaging was a pleasant surprise!  hahaha I got the finger :)

The full sized shadows I got were (in order): Mary Jane, Black Eye and Miasma.
I AM IN LOVE WITH BLACK EYE!!!! It is by far my favorite eyeshadow EVER!! haha obsessed much?

These are the samples....I think it's great that one can purchase sample sizes.  The left is under artificial and the right is natural light.  One of my shadows came with the bottom 3 samples.

These are the "Drugs like me" blush sampler collection.  O M G!!!!!  I will be purchasing pcp and mdma pretty soon........ahahahahaha! That sounds funny!

.......anyway, I was trying to figure out a way to store the samples so it's easy to use and this is what I came up with:

                                 **7 day pillboxes from walgreens and my trusty label maker**

MAC DUPES: Maleficent

Hello Darlings!!


Today I bring you some dupes for the coveted Maleficent lippies that MAC has released as limited edition.  I literally got the last lipstick and lip glass.

No worries!!! I've got you :)

I tried a couple of different lippies, but here's my final verdict:

MAC "True love's kiss" $17.50 =  NYC Expert Last Lip Color "Red Rapture" $1.99 cvs
MAC "Anthurium" lipglass $22.00 = Be a Bombshell "Hot Mess" lip gloss $14.00 be a bombshell cosmetics (ok...this was not a bargain but at least it's available and a great dupe)

Lipstick Haul

Hello darlings,

Here is a mini collective lipstick haul and swatches.

They are in order from left to right:

All of these are very silky and pigmented (except the VS Adorned, it's very Sheer)
I have a weird habit of smelling lipstick and glosses because I've had weird experiences in the past with bad tasting/smelling lipstick. (both times with red shades) All of these smell good.  Some berry like.  The only one I continue to have an issue with is the VS Adorned.  It leaves a bit of a weird taste in my mouth.
